How Does a Flipbook Photo Booth Work?
Picture a portable TV studio dropped right into your event. It runs with two people: a director who keeps the energy up and walks every guest through their moment, and a producer who runs the printing, cutting, and binding to turn each clip into a finished 60-page animated flipbook.
Step 1: Pick your background. The director brings the guest over to the screen and walks them through the background choices. Our signature scenes put guests right in the action: flying like Superman, rocking out on stage, running down the Bay Bridge, soaring up in the clouds, or diving underwater. If you want the selection tailored to your event theme, we set that up ahead of time.
Step 2: Grab your props. Guests are invited to grab props that bring their character to life, and we can theme those to the event too. This is the part where people loosen up and start having fun.
Step 3: Lights, camera, action. The director counts down 3-2-1 and the guest performs a 7-second scene. They see themselves composited into the background live on the screen the whole time, and the clip plays back instantly so they can watch what they made.
